Dear Kindervelt Members, Happy February! Can you believe the first month of the year has already come and gone? As we step into this new month, I’m excited to share that Kindervelt is all set to kick off a jam-packed four months of fundraising for the Children’s Hospital Advanced Leukemia Center. February is a wonderful time for reflection, and I invite you all to take a moment to appreciate the heart of our organization: our dedicated members. Each of you gives your time, talent, and resources to fearlessly support the fight against leukemia. I am continually impressed and humbled by this incredible group of women. As your president, I not only embrace the responsibility of leading Kindervelt, but I also find myself learning and drawing inspiration from each one of you as we navigate the path to future successes together. I want to remind everyone of our upcoming Leadership Meeting on February 10th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sabin Auditorium on Children’s Main Campus, location D. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time! This meeting is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the broader Kindervelt community, learn about how our leadership works alongside Cincinnati Children’s and our 21 Kindervelt groups. We have an exciting agenda planned, including a champion speaker who will share their experience at the Children’s Hospital Advanced Leukemia Center, alongside Dr. Starczynowski, director of the division. And that’s not all! We’ll be unveiling our new logo and the redesigned Kindervelt.orgwebsite—you won’t want to miss this momentous reveal! Please RSVP by February 3rdusing the link below: RSVP Here Are you interested in becoming a part of the Kindervelt Board of Trustees (BOT)? If you’re curious but unsure, please join us at the leadership meeting to learn more about the BOT and the available roles. I’m always here to chat if you have any questions—don’t hesitate to reach out. I can personally attest that saying yes to new opportunities can be a bit daunting, but it has brought me immense joy and fulfillment as I support this incredible cause and help shape the future of Kindervelt.
