President’s Message – December 2024

I hope this letter finds you well and that you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday filled with joy and gratitude.

As we transition into the festive season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your incredible support of Kindervelt, both now and in the past. It is truly an honor to lead such an amazing group of women, and I am grateful for the dedication and passion you all bring to our mission.

With the December holidays upon us and the new year just around the corner, I encourage you to take some time to relax and enjoy the company of your loved ones. It’s a beautiful time to recharge and reflect on the year gone by.

I also want to remind you that Giving Tuesday is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to others. Please consider participating in this global day of generosity by supporting Advanced Leukemia Research through this link: https://members.kindervelt.org/donations/donate.asp?id=23082. Your contributions can make a significant impact!

A special shoutout goes to all our talented Kindervelt crafters! It was truly impressive to see the amazing holiday items and delicious baked goods that you created. Your creativity and hard work are so appreciated.

As we look ahead, the new year brings exciting events aimed at supporting the Advanced Leukemia Center at Children’s Hospital. Some of these events include KV Bowl and Pickleball. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together!

Lastly, I want to extend an invite to our entire Kindervelt Community to come join us for our Leadership Meeting Feb 10th 9:30-11:30 at the Sabin Center on Children’s Main Campus. Please RSVP by Jan 27th using the link below.

Wishing you and your families all the best during this holiday season. I look forward to reconnecting with everyone in the new year.

As we celebrate, let’s remember this quote: “The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect on our blessings and seek out ways to make life better for those around us.”

Warmest wishes,
Suzanne Nemeth
