Welcome back everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed some fun this summer. Speaking of fun, the W&S Tennis Open Tournament served up some exciting matches this year. Tennis for Charity is supporting Kindervelt with a matching donation in appreciation for all that KV does for the city. I would say that’s a Grand Slam! Thank you, Debbie Clerc and your team of over 160 volunteers.
What a fun afternoon at Third Eye Brewing Company! Thank you, Kelly Anderson, for hosting a fun social to create awareness and bring in some new members.
With summer ending and school starting, the fall season becomes a busy time of year. The new Board of Trustees met August 29th and I look forward to meeting with all the group presidents at our first Leadership meeting on September 12th.
Caroline Cox, our Projects Chair, has numerous project requests coming in. One of our anticipated events is our Citywide Bowling Event. Yes, Bowling is back! Event chairs, Suzanne Nemeth, Andi Mapes and their committee are enthusiastically planning and preparing. Save the date, March 4th at Stone Lanes.
Have you caught the Pickleball fever yet? KV #8 will be hosting the first annual Pickleball Tournament under the leadership of Ginny Myer and Sherry Weckenbrock on February 25
th at Five Seasons Family Sports Club. Save the date for this exciting new event.
Look for all the ways you can have fun supporting Kindervelt and Cincinnati Children’s.
Thank you for volunteering your time.
You are so appreciated.
You are making a difference.
I’ll see you along the way,
Cindy Burger
Kindervelt City President
