President’s Message – January 2024

Congratulations Kindervelt! Cincy Magazine awarded Kindervelt with the 4^th Annual Greater Cincinnati Nonprofit of the Year Award! This award recognizes outstanding accomplishments of nonprofit organizations who are dedicated to the business of doing good in the Greater Cincinnati Communities. I am so proud to be part of an over 500-member organization who believes in creating an environment for building friendships and productive relationships within our organization and throughout our communities while raising funds for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Your dedication to coming together for a common goal is truly inspiring. Thank you for helping to make a difference in the lives of children every single day.

What a fabulous year it has been and now it’s time to look ahead to the future. A new year, a new beginning, and a new opportunity to consider joining our leadership team. Linda Deters and the Nominating Committee will be seeking a new slate of officers for the 2024-2025 Board of Trustees. We want to ensure our President Elect, Suzanne Nemeth, has a smooth transition on June 1^st.

KV Bowl is looking ahead as they host our Citywide Bowling Event on March 4^th at Stone Lanes in Norwood. Committee chairs, Andi Mapes and Nancy Sanchez, have been busy organizing a fun-filled family event for all of us to enjoy. You will find more information about KV Bowl; “Strike Up the Fun” in this newsletter along with ways your group can participate.
