Ringing in the New Year with family and friends is a tradition that is celebrated globally marking the end of the year before and celebrating the new year to come no matter where you are in the world. Singing along to Auld Lang Syne and making resolutions have become a part of that tradition. Truthfully, most of us only really know the first verse of the popular New Years’s song which basically interprets to “for the sake of old times.” As we remember all the fun we have had with Kindervelt friends in the past, let’s make it a goal to continue those fun times with even more friends. Consider inviting a friend, neighbor, coworker, church friend, hairdresser, nail tech, workout partner, just to name a few, to join us in the fun.
Our citywide event, Let The Good Times Bowl, is Saturday March 4 at Stone Lanes in Norwood. The goal is to have 100% participation from all the Kindervelt groups. Please see the information below for more details and ways your group can participate.
Bonnie Hueneman and the nominating committee will be seeking a new slate of officers for the 2023-2024 Board of Trustees. The only skill set required is a mind set to want to volunteer.
Happy New Year everyone.
Your friend in Kindervelt,
Kindervelt City President
