Kindervelt is an organization composed of neighborhood or other common-interest groups joined together by a central, city-wide board of trustees. It is the largest auxiliary of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) and is recognized as one of Greater Cincinnati’s outstanding volunteer organizations.

Kindervelt’s Mission

Caring together we can make a difference for the community of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center by contributing skills, time and talent to promoting Cincinnati Children’s and generating fundraising money while enjoying and sharing the purpose of Kindervelt.

Kindervelt’s Structure

Kindervelt is the largest auxiliary of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center with members in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Indiana.  The organization is composed of neighborhood or other common interest groups as well as individual citywide members and is united by a central Board of Trustees (BOT).  The BOT consists of 18 positions; the Executive and Advisory Officers along with Region Leaders.  Kindervelt membership is open to anyone who wishes to join.

Citywide Projects

Kindervelt Fall Event

The Fall Event is open to the public and held September – November.  It has ranged in the past from a Gala Evening to a Halloween Party held at a variety of venues around the TriState area.

Kindervelt Krafts

KV Krafts is a series of shopping events featuring quality hand-crafted merchandise and bakery items.  These events are typically held October through December.

Kindervelt Bowl

A multi-session day of bowling, raffles and prizes.  This event is typically held in late winter.

 

Group Projects

Each individual Kindervelt group believes in our motto “Together, we can make a difference” in its own unique way.  The ideas and possibilities are endless – some include golf outings, bunko parties, fashion shows and luncheons; flower and mulch sales, cooking classes, wine tastings and vendor parties.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text responsive_text=”true” font_size=”20px”]
