As we enter the month of April, I am thrilled to share that we are just two months away from completing our second year of fundraising in support of the Advanced Leukemia Therapies and Research Department. This milestone is a powerful reflection of what we can accomplish together through commitment, generosity, and shared purpose. I am already looking forward to the presentation of our fundraising check at the Annual Meeting on May 13th at the Western Hills Country Club, and I encourage everyone to save the date for this very special celebration of our collective impact.
April also welcomes the beauty and renewal of spring. With longer days and fresh beginnings all around us, this season offers a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our mission and the difference Kindervelt continues to make. This reminds me, membership renewal is just around the corner—please keep an eye out for details from Citywide and your group leadership. This year, there are two updates to take note of : first, auto-renewal will be used to renew membership automatically if a credit card was used; second, annual dues will increase by $10 as one of the strategies we are implementing to ensure the financial viability of Kindervelt. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your group president or the Board of Trustees.
Spring is always an active and exciting time for Kindervelt. Across our organization, members are coming together through upcoming events, meetings, and fundraising efforts that continue to move our mission forward. The dedication, creativity, and generosity of our volunteers never cease to inspire me. Each event, large or small, plays an important role in advancing the work we are so proud to support.
