I’m excited that we’re entering the final month of our second year supporting the Division of Advanced Leukemia Therapies and Research Center. This month features several wonderful events to further our fundraising efforts, and I’m confident we’ll carry the year’s strong momentum through to the finish. Our annual meeting is also right around the corner, a special time for Kindervelt to celebrate the work that culminates in the check we present to the Division of Advanced Leukemia Research Center.
As I close out my two years as Kindervelt Citywide President, I want to share the organization’s incredible accomplishments.
Kindervelt sustained strong fundraising through signature citywide and group-led events while expanding into new experiences, diversifying our donor base, and strengthening long-term financial resilience. We also evolved the Kindervelt brand with a new logo, refreshed website, and increased social and media visibility, helping more people understand who we are and why our mission matters. The Board of Trustees improved financial transparency and advanced long-term sustainability strategies. Most importantly, we invested in people by welcoming new and milestone members, recognizing exceptional service, increasing engagement opportunities, and building a path for future leaders.
It has been an honor to lead Kindervelt over the past two years. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside such passionate and talented women in support of the community we call home. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital will always have a special place in my heart, and I look forward to Kindervelt’s bright future in supporting it.
I am privileged to pass the torch to Jennie Strode as Citywide President, and I’m confident she will be a guiding force as we carry the Kindervelt vision into the next 50 years and beyond.
As we wrap up this year, I’d like to share a quote “Great things are brought about, and burdens are lightened through the efforts of many hands anxiously engaged in a good cause.” – Elder M. Russell Ballard
