Sara Hoffman Pritchard, 82 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 12, 2022. She was born October 6, 1940, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Stander) Hoffman Jr. She was a loving mother to Margaret (Steve) Fleischman, nana to Gracie and Hannah, and sister to Anthony Hoffman III.
Sara grew up in Terrace Park and graduated from Mariemont H.S. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University and her Masters of Education in Montessori Education from Xavier University. She had a passion for the healthy growth and development of children that led to her impactful 35-year-tenure with the Cincinnati Public Schools.
Sara built her life in the Hyde Parkarea and lived there for over 50 years. A member of the Hyde Park Community Methodist Church and Stephen Ministries, she enjoyed contributing to the neighborhood. She was also a dedicated volunteer for: Kindervelt of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, The ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati, and The Girl Scouts of America.
Sara adored gardening and flower arranging, traveling, going to museums, entertaining and collecting antiques. Decorating her home was among her favorite pastimes, especially with her signature color red. She also enjoyed running, playing tennis and dominoes. She treasured her time with family and friends, had a strong work ethic and style, as well as a wonderful sense of humor, and loved animals, especially rabbits.
