Summer is winding down and Kindervelt is winding up! Kindervelt groups across the city are winding up as they hold meetings and prepare group activities for the year. KV #11, Lebanon Lambs, is hosting a golf outing on September 17th. Buncos are ready to roll the dice; KV #56, Northern Kentucky, on September 18th and KV #16, White Oak, on September 22nd.
Thank you to the many volunteers that spent hours at the W&S Tennis tournament at the beautiful facility in Mason this summer. Debbie Clerc of KV #22, Montgomery, led the way organizing over 225 shifts over nine days. We are anticipating a record-breaking fundraising amount this year with the sale of new tumblers due in part to our friendly, enthusiastic Kindervelt volunteers. Awesome job Kindervelt!
Excitement is in the air with our Fall Event; Monte Carlo Night At The Club!
Spend an evening with us on November 10th at Western Hills Country Club for a fabulous night of games, music, dinner and lots of fun. Bonnie Hueneman of KV #68, Westside, and committee are hosting a spectacular night that you don’t want to miss. Talk it up, bring your friends and get ready for Monte Carlo Night At The Club!
KV Krafts have been busy all summer creating items for our craft events. We begin on October 14th at Burger Farm. It promises to be a great way to bring the family and enjoy a fun Saturday afternoon. Check out all the KV Kraft dates in this newsletter.
I’m looking forward to making more memories as we enter our final year of our four-year commitment to the Division of Critical Care Medicine and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children’s. Enjoy the rest of the summer and as always, thank you for all you do.
