Although summer has come to an end and the leaves are starting to fall, Kindervelt is warming up for our busy season. The next few weeks will be filled with Kindervelt Krafts, Bake Sales, Denim & Diamonds Fall Event, and much more. I also want to welcome all the New Kindervelt members who have joined. Our membership continues to grow, and I look forward to meeting all our new members throughout the year.

Early September marked this year’s first Leadership meeting, and I was so energized by being surrounded by such an amazing group of talented women. Kindervelt is in a unique position to help support the growth of biorepositories/data registries for future Debbie Porter and Suzanne Nemeth getting ready to go on Fox19 Now news Tuesday morning to promote Kindervelt and our Fall Event – Denim & Diamonds, November 7th See TV clip HERE! Leukemia research and accelerate the identification of new immune-based therapies that can lead to clinical trial new drug candidates. We have tours available to see firsthand where all this incredible work is happening within the Advanced Leukemia & Therapies Research Department at Children’s Hospital. The Fall event, Denim & Diamonds, is right around the corner on Nov. 7th. Please mark your calendars for a fun-filled night with delicious food catered by Eat Well, dance the night away with the Artie Dean Harris live band and sip on the featured New Riff Bourbon. This past weekend I had the opportunity to represent Kindervelt at the Annual Cincinnati Children’s Walk. It was so energizing to see over 3,200 participants and engage with some of them about Kindervelt. I look forward to many more of these opportunities to continue to educate the community about the great work that Kindervelt does to support Cincinnati Children’s.
