This Mother and Daughter Team has been active in Kindervelt from the beginning. Liz, a young mother of two, was asked by friends to attend a Longaberger Basket Party to help raise money for Children’s Hospital. Catherine, who was just learning to crawl (and was very active) came along. That enjoyable evening event led to Liz becoming a member and later, President for a time of Kindervelt #56 in Northern Ky. Catherine attended President Council Babysitting Sessions and was one of the regulars. She grew up with Kindervelt and a large group of friends having fun.

A move to Loveland, Ohio prompted a change to KV #11 for Liz but Catherine with three small boys and a job with Woodhouse Spa still contributes. Catherine earned her 10 Year Certificate a few years ago. Liz holds her 30 year pin as a point of joy marking many memories volunteering on City Board, hosting the latest Annual Meeting, and serving as President of KV #11. CCHMC as a world leader of care and innovation is the motivation that keeps them both involved. Whether it is baking cookies or Christmas crafting, every effort is appreciated and together they make a difference in our community.
