Kindervelt #29 sadly reports the passing of Marilyn Riegert a member of our group and former KV City President -1980-1982. Marilyn first joined Kindervelt in the early 1970s as a member of the Hyde Park #3 group. As a member of that group she served on several KV Boards and was the first person elected to a 2 year term as City President. She was very instrumental in the successful operation of the 1987 World Figure Skating Championship held here in Cincinnati. Marilyn was a talented writer and editor and so was Printing Chair for the WFSC. Her son, John, designed the mascot “Blades” for the event. Marilyn went on to serve on the boards of both Cerebral Palsy and Stepping Stones. She was an eloquently passionate woman who made a positive impact on all her endeavors and all who knew her.
